Food safety experts will be meeting once again on October 2024 to study the development of food safety in Africa during the last recent years, given the major challenge of food diseases facing the world.
At this 3rd edition of the annual meeting, the Joint FAO/IAEA centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture plans to focus on food safety strategies and standards, as well as the contribution of governments, metrological systems and laboratories in the control of sanitary measures and food quality.
Participants and attendees to this African summit, that will take place in Marrakech from 7th to 11th October 2024, will share information accrued during the first two editions, to examine the relevant work and strategies expected to strengthen food safety in Africa.
